  • If I find a lower price online, you will beat it by 10%?

Yes.  It's our very simple price match policy.  We'll not just match the competitor price, we'll beat it by 10%.  If you find the exact same item (product and color) in stock on another authorized seller's website for a lower total price, we’ll beat that price by 10%!

 

The price match guarantee is for the entire order cost, including shipping. 

Example: www.Xyzbags.Com has a handbag for $100 and charges $10 shipping. Our site has the same handbag for $105 with free shipping. Our competitor's price is $110, ours is $105.  In this case the price match would not qualify as we are the lower total price.

Alternatively, if www.Xyzbags.Com offered free shipping, their total cost would be $100. Therefore the price match would qualify and your price would be 10% less than $100 = $90.

  Please note that any of our promotions or platinum rewards will be applied first when dictating if our price match guarantee will apply.  Also, free promotional items are not included in combination with a price matched order.


Generally, auction sites do not qualify because these are not authorized sellers.  Always contact us with your question and competitor pricing and we will review it.



How to get the price match verified and adjusted:


Option 1.  Call us toll-free, 888.402.2247, M-F from 10:30am – 5:30pm and Saturday from 10am – 5pm to place your order over the phone.



Option 2. Click on the live chat button on any page of our website.  As long as it says ‘click here for live support’, you’ll be able to chat live with one of our associates who can take care of you.



Option 3. Email us directly at orders@materialgirlhandbags.com with your price match information and we will then email you an invoice. You can pay the e-invoice directly with any major credit card or paypal.



Option 4. Order directly online. In the comments section during checkout, enter all the price match information. Our staff will review it and refund your order accordingly if it is verified. If it is not verified, we will contact you before proceeding with your order.


Additional conditions:
1. Do you have a bag on hold and now see it lower elsewhere? If the bag is still available for sale on our website, the price match policy would apply.  If we are sold out of the bag (in other words, your held bag is the last one left), we would only match the price you have found it for but not beat it by an additional 10%.



2. Are you a platinum member or do you have other promotions you want to use? These promotions are always applied first. If after these promotions our price is lower, the price match would not apply. If the competitor price is still lower, our price match policy will apply. Platinum rewards and promotions are not applied in addition to the 10% price match policy.



3. The bag must be in stock on the competitor website and it must be the exact same bag and color. In other words, if another site is only discounting the red style of the bag and not the black, only our red matching bag would qualify for the price match.



4. Do you have a bag on hold and want to apply the price match but don’t want to pay for the bag yet? In order to qualify for the price match and have us beat it by 10%, you would need to pay for your held bag while the competitor’s price is still available at the lower price.

  • Is shipping really free?

Yes, shipping is free anywhere in the United States, all the time, on every product.

  • How does the order process work?

1. As soon as your order is placed, you will receive an immediate email confirming your order. Please double check your order and inform us of any errors.

2. You will receive an email from us by the end of the next business day updating you on the shipping status.  Most items ship either the same day or within 24 hours of receipt of your order.

3. We will email your tracking number at the time of shipment.  We ship via UPS and the US Postal Service. If you have a special request, please let us know. You can track your package at www.ups.com or www.usps.com.

4. If you have not heard from us within 48 hours of placing your order, call us immediately at 888.402.2247 or email our owner, Scott, at platinum@materialgirlhandbags.com.

  • What is your return policy?

If you are not completely satisfied, you may return your purchase for a refund. All domestic orders receive free return shipping. All unused items in the original packaging may be returned up to 365 days (1 year) after your original order date, also free of charge.

1. All domestic orders (continental U.S.) receive free return shipping.  Material Girl will email you a return postage label, pre-paid, for you to mail back to us at our cost.  To receive your return label please email orders@materialgirlhandbags.com along with your full name, address, and list of items you are returning.  I tems returned any other way cannot be reimbursed. Your refund will be applied in the same manner payment was made.

2. Package items securely in the same manner in which you received them.

3. We cannot guarantee a refund if these policies are not met.

4. International returns will be refunded the full amount less our original international shipping costs.

5. Should more than 2 returns be made, material girl reserves the right to refund the original payment less our original shipping costs.

  • Is material girl part of a franchise?

No, Material Girl is not a franchise or part of a national chain. We are a privately owned business located in Omaha, Nebraska. As a single entity, we control the products we purchase and promotions we offer to our customers. This approach allows us to listen to the needs of our customers and give attention to those who patronize our company.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of payment: paypal, checks, all credit cards, debit cards, and money orders. We ask that cash not be sent in the mail.  For personal checks, there will be a 10 day delay in shipping to allow your check to clear the bank. You can either checkout with your credit card through our secure online checkout page or through PayPal. It's up to you.  All  payment methods are encrypted and completely secure.  Material Girl will never see your credit card information nor will we ever ask for it.

  • Do you offer gift wrap?

Yes and we hope you aren't upset that it is also free!  Due to customs requirements we can only gift wrap domestic orders.  Just let us know you'd like your item gift wrapped and we'll take it from there.  We are also happy to include a gift note at no additional cost.  Simply give us the words you'd like us to write and we promise to write nicely.
